The New Sun

Writer's Guidelines

If you have a story you'd like to contribute, we welcome submissions.

The subject matter is not limited; it includes all areas of life, with all the variety and joys and challenges that life offers.

Even if the story is about a seemingly negative topic, there should be some sort of positive perspective within it; a thread (however small or large) of hope, a sense of humor, wisdom gained, creativity expressed, solutions discovered, kindness and generosity given, etc.

If possible, the stories should be short, 750 words more or less.

Ideally, the reader should be left with the feeling, "Life is good" or "Life's hard but it's okay," rather than, "Oh my God, the world is falling apart and so am I."

Thanks!
