Nicole Lyn Pesce recently completed a master's degree at New York University's School of Journalism. She earned a bachelor's degree in English at Stony Brook University on Long Island, where she also minored in journalism and wrote for The Stony Brook Press -- when she wasn't rucking and mauling on the rugby pitch.She is currently a freelance writer in New York City, and her work has appeared in Lamaze Parents and Manhattan South magazines, Washington Square News and The New York Observer.
