I AM SITTING GAZING AT THE MOON

I am sitting gazing at the moon
While the "man in the moon"
Looks down on me.

And I wonder:
Does he see me sitting here,
Feeling far away,
And "un-illuminated"?

Sitting,
Hopelessly lost in the
Radiance of his lustrous
Nebulae?

I am sitting
Wishing not so much on stars,
But that his moon-lit eyes
Would glean my moon-struck sighs
Of longing,
To be "beamed up" to his luminous
Face

Where,
"Moonshine glow"
Would flow, and
Cascade over me;
To wash away all
Vestiges of sanity,
And, "LUNACY"
Would reign supreme!
