The New York Presbyterian Hospital has established a Department of Complementary Medicine Services on the Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center campus.
This department offers treatments that can "complement" modern medicine.
They include acupuncture, hypnosis, guided imagery, massage, accupressure, Tai Chi, Qi Gong, and yoga.
Additionally, the Center conducts research and provides information and education on complementary/alternative medicine.
