Barry Napier is younger than the universe but older than his sons, whose name for him is "old crinkly." A graduate of UK and USA universities, he has several degrees (BA, BEd, MA and PhD) spanning psychology, business, theology, art and education.

His has published academic articles for 30 years. Some time ago he wrote science and health scripts for BBC overseas radio, and has had three books published. His fourth is almost ready - an evaluation of the "Summa Theologica" by the Medieval theologian, Thomas Aquinas.

Barry's work background has been varied - rock music, art and design, lecturing, health. But he is now a full-time freelance writer, mainly in travel. He has started a "labour of love," visiting and cataloguing as many old British villages and towns as he can find, with photos. His aim is to capture the essence of old Britain - most of which goes back to pre-history - before the European Union destroys it!

When the EU finally takes over Britain, Barry will run to the Welsh hills with his computer and some strawberries. If that happens leave your messages under the milk churn at the gate of Mynydd Bach Farm, Brecon, and he will pick them up under cover of darkness.
